Survey on Professional Attitudes in Psychotherapy
Chance to win a gift card
This study is conducted by Jerry Middleton under the supervision
of Dr. Shanna Williams at McGill University.
We are reaching out to psychologists and psychotherapists broadly defined (including marriage and family therapists, psychotherapists, counselling therapists, clinical social workers, and other mental health clinicians) to take part in a short survey whose aim is to better understand important influences on psychotherapy practices today. We strongly feel that you are the most qualified and valued informants of the landscape of psychotherapy practices within Canada and regard your views most highly and respectfully. This survey will specifically explore current attitudes towards psychotherapy research, perceived challenges to being able to use it, and perceived facilitators towards its access. Participation, which is voluntary and confidential, involves completing a brief online survey. Your opinions will really help us to understand this landscape intricately.
Clicking on this hyperlink will launch the short web-based survey (available in English and in French), where you will find additional information about this project. All survey responses are completely anonymous. Participating in the survey will give you the opportunity to enter a draw to win 1 of 30 $20 Amazon.ca gift cards! This may be done by entering an email address of your choosing after taking the survey, through a separate, encrypted-protected spreadsheet that is completely unassociated with the survey responses and used only for the draw, after which it will be deleted.
With warmest regards and much gratitude for your valued input,Jerry Middleton, M.A., Ph.D. (Candidate), Counselling Psychology, McGill University
