Michele Maurer, M.Sc., RMFT is a 30+ year career couple and family therapist, parent consultant, educator and presenter. Michele has been married for 22 years, with two children. Trained at the University of Guelph MFT program by leaders in the MFT field, Michele works in private practice and is a sought-after presenter with health authorities, community service agencies, and the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Michele is a faculty member with the Neufeld Institute, working closely with Dr. Gordon Neufeld, (developmental psychologist and a foremost authority on child development internationally), to make sense of children, adolescents, and adults through the attachment-based developmental lens. Through the Neufeld Institute, Michele enjoys teaching parents, educators and helping professionals from across the globe. Michele is excited to share some of Dr. Neufeld’s unique contributions and insights on marriage, brought to life with stories and lived examples from her years of personal and professional practice.
