Family Matters and Psychedelics:
Directions for Systems-Informed Psychedelic Support
Thursday, March 5, 2026
1:00 - 3:00 pm ET - Virtual
Presented by: Adele Lafrance, Ph.D, C.Psych
Given the bi-directional impact of psychedelic healing and growth on close others, new directions for systems-informed structures are essential. This workshop will introduce the ethical, neurobiological and psychological considerations for other-involvement in psychedelic-assisted healing. Simple yet effective interventions will be offered to optimize outcomes and to minimize relational distress. Clinical anecdotes will also be shared to illustrate how these supportive frameworks can be in the best interest of all those affected.
