Workshop Description
We see high quality supervision as pivotal in the development of the next generation of relational practitioners, supervisors, and teachers. Therefore, we invite you to join us in a workshop designed for supervisors at all levels of experience to focus on developing systemic and relational conversation skills in therapists. We will engage in both presentation and dialogue as we discuss ideas that come from a combination of study and experience and that do not often appear in written publications. These ideas and practices can be applied to any therapeutic model/approach and are designed to assist supervisors in helping newer practitioners focus on becoming better conversationalists.
We will concentrate on four thematic areas:
• Individualizing
• Biases/2nd Order Cybernetics
• Problems and Solutions
• Value of Questions
