Bio
Since 1994, in the settings of private practice, post-secondary institutions, community and children’s mental health agencies, Sharon has been learning how context influences our ability to survive and thrive through the expected and surprising rhythms of life. Her clinical work focuses on the search for hope and change through the healing power of being seen and heard. As a Canadian MFT of Afro-Caribbean descent, Sharon is interested in the intersections between who she is, the identities of the people with whom she works, and how those intersections inform and interact with the broader systems in which we are all embedded.
