Location: Halifax , Nova Scotia Courtyard Marriott Halifax Downtown

Start Time: 10:00am ADT End Time: 5:00 ADT ( 1 hour for lunch)

Who should attend:

Any RMFT Supervisor or Supervisor Mentor who is due for a refresher course now or within 6 months. The course is also open to any RMFT Supervisor Qualifying that feels this refresher course would be helpful.
Non-CAMFT therapists who have experience in supervising the clinical work of others.

Themes will include:

Multicultural and intersectional sensitivity
Philosophies of systemic supervision

Requirements:

Participant must write a one-page paper describing their theory of change in therapy and how they model that in supervision. The paper must be submitted to Sam Berg by April 15, 2023 Email will be provided after registering.
Reading Assignment: Please click here to read the assignment prior to the refresher course. As you read, reflect on any resonance you may have as a result of your own supervision experiences with anything in the article. Part of our time together will be to reflect and share in smaller groups on your responses to the article.

We need a minimum number of 6 registrants to run the course. Maximum of 12 for in-person and 12 attending virtually.

Please note: This is not a Fundamentals of Supervision course.

Registration fee $250.00.

Refunds will not be provided after March 31, 2023. A 10% fee will be charged for any refunds prior to that. If the course is cancelled full refunds will be provided.

CAMFT has reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Marriott Halifax Downtown. These rooms will only be held until March 20, 2023. When you call the hotel please tell them you would like a room at the CAMFT rate.
