Congruence Couple Therapy Reveals

Presented by:

Bonnie Lee, PhD

Associate Professor, Health Sciences, University of Lethbridge

1:30 - 2:30 CST

Substance use and behavioural addictive disorders have moved from the margins to the mainstream of our society. MFTs who are equipped with knowledge and skills to work with these complex problems will be in demand. Attend this lecture to learn more about addiction and what lurks behind the curtain. Learn how a new model of systemic therapy shifts the focus of addiction from the individual to the couple as a critical site of intervention and its results not only for addiction symptoms, but also for couple adjustment, psychiatric symptoms, emotion regulation and reduction of life stress.
