This workshop offers basic information including presenting concerns and adaptation of existing modalities to enhance clinical work with consensual non-monogamous clients. Attendance to mononormativity and improvement of safe and effective use of self is a primary focus of this workshop.
Workshop Objectives
1) Introductory information about therapeutic services to clients who practice or identify with Consensual Non-monogamy (CNM)
2) Address concerns about offering individual and/or relational therapy to CNM clients
3) Safe and Effective Use of Self in clinical work with CNM clients
4) Building evidence-based practice by reviewing research and resources available for clinical work with CNM clients
